Shell Fischer received her MFA degree in Writing from Naropa University, where she studied with such beat-generation writers as Allen Ginsberg, Ken Kesey, Hubert Selby Jr., Anne Waldman, and Bobbie Louise Hawkins. Her fiction has been read on National Public Radio’s Morning Edition, and has appeared in several literary journals, including Apostrophe, Nebo, Confrontation, and New Voices, among others. She holds a B.A. degree in journalism from Michigan State University, and has written as a journalist for more than 15 years. She recently completed her first novel,The Joy of Mom, which takes a look at the Sexual Revolution through the eyes of a 10-year-old girl.

boni joi has performed at many places in N.Y. such as The Knitting Factory, Estrogenius at Manhattan Theater Source, Dixon Place,Gecko's Night of the Living Divas & Chicks Cook at The Collective Unconscious, Jennifer Blowdryer's Smutfest at Mother, The Mad Alex Reading Series, The Carmen Mofongo Show at Surf Reality, The Telephone Bar, Cornelia St. Cafe, and Wordsmiths at Halcyon in Brooklyn. boni joi was part of Da Bips: Da Bowery Improv Poets, an improvisational poetry troupe that had a run at The Bowery Poetry Club. boni has read at Amanda Stern’s Happy Ending Reading where the readers are sometimes asked to warm up the crowd by performing 80’s cover songs, which she did, with her muscial husband. She also did a lecture on Wilhelm Riech and the Discovery of Orgone for Shelia Heti’s Trampoline Hall

Tobi Joi: Over the past 20 years TOBI JOI has been a Swiss Precision Rock N Roller that makes heads bang and hips swing. He has played all over Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium and London. He has recorded numerous LP's, CDs, cassette tapes and home videos. In 2006 he recorded his first solo CD, Lombardo Loops.
